Arrival at the Pula Airport; transfer from the airport to the hotel; check-in; overnight stay
After breakfast we will start our journey by visiting the city of Pula accompanied by a licensed tourist guide who will be with us the whole day. Here you will visit the best preserved Roman Amphiteatre – the Arena. After Pula, our journey continues to Rovinj which is approximately a 35 minutes’ drive from Pula. After visiting Rovinj, mostly famous for its St. Euphemia church and the specific boats called „batana“ we will have some time free, during which you can have lunch. We will continue toward Poreč, a 30 minutes’ drive from Rovinj, where we will also have a guided walking tour. Poreč is best known for the Euphrasian Basilica which is a protected UNESCO site. After the three Istrian towns, we will continue toward Opatija where we will check in at our hotel; free time; overnight stay.
After breakfast we will have some free time to visit the Croatian tourist flower – Opatija. After that we will go to Rijeka, the nearby city, where you will be free to have lunch. Our next destination is the National Park Plitvice Lakes which is protected as part of the UNESCO world heritage list. There we will check in at the hotel; free time; overnight stay.
After breakfast we will start toward the National Park. The visit to the park is about 3 hours long. After that we will continue toward Zadar, with a break in Korenica where we will have lunch. In Zadar we will check in at the hotel; overnight stay.
After breakfast we will visit the city of Zadar accompanied by a licensed tourist guide. The Sea Organ and Greeting to the Sun is something that you simply have to experience! After the beautiful Zadar we will continue our journey along the Croatian coast and reach our next destination – Šibenik, famous for its UNESCO protected monument, the Cathedral of St. Jacob, as well as for the magnificent view of the many islands surrounding Šibenik that can be seen from the Barone Fortress. After the guided tour of Šibenik we will continue toward Trogir, the island of Čiovo, where we will check in at the hotel; overnight stay.
After breakfast we will start with guided tours of Trogir and Split (both being on the UNESCO world heritage list). After that we will depart toward Dubrovnik with a stopover in Ston where you will have the opportunity to see the Ston Wall – the second longest wall in the world after the Great Wall of China. In the evening we will check in at the hotel in Dubrovnik; overnight stay.
After breakfast we will go for a guided tour of the old city of Dubrovnik (also on the UNESCO world heritage list due to its beautiful city wall and fortresses; known as the pearl of the Adriatic). During the free time in the historical centre we will have time to have lunch and then depart toward the nearby small town of Cavtat. After enjoying the quiet Mediterranean atmosphere, we will go back to our hotel.
