(the Tour may also start from Split)
Arrival at the Dubrovnik Airport; transfer from the airport to the hotel; check-in; overnight stay
After breakfast we will go for a guided tour of the old city of Dubrovnik (on the UNESCO world heritage list due to its beautiful city wall and fortresses; known as the pearl of the Adriatic). After Dubrovnik we will depart toward the island of Korčula (Marco Polo’s birthplace), with a stopover in Ston where you will have the opportunity to see the Ston Wall – the second longest wall in the world after the Great Wall of China. Ston is also special and widely known for its salt-works in which salt is still produced in a traditional way. You may use the free time in Ston to have lunch. After Ston we will continue toward Korčula along the Pelješac peninsula, a wine growing region offering widely known wines. We will stop in one of the many wine cellars where you will have the chance to taste some of our famous wines. At the end of the peninsula, in Orebić, we will take the ferry and after 15 minutes we will be in the city of Korčula where we will check in at the hotel.
After breakfast we will visit Korčula accompanied by a licensed tourist guide. After the visit we will return to the coast and continue toward Makarska where you will have free time to have lunch and go for a walk through the small Dalmatian town at the foot of the Biokovo mountain. Our next destination is Omiš where we will check in at the hotel.
After breakfast you will have some free time to enjoy in the narrow streets of Omiš and maybe find out why the inhabitants of Omiš were pirates in the past! We will then depart toward Split where a licensed tourist guide will tell us about its rich history and show us the most popular tourist sites. After the guided tour you will choose one of the numerous restaurants in which to enjoy in your lunch. After Split we will depart toward Trogir where a licensed tourist guide will take us along the old city streets and squares. There we will check in at our hotel.
